About Me
I am an early care and education consultant, public administrator, policy maker and national training and technical assistance provider. My passion and expertise lie in early childhood systems building and coordination.
I have dedicated my career to supporting children, families and professionals. I began as an early education teacher in a toddler classroom, aid for children with special needs, preschool and first through sixth grade. From there, I moved into roles supporting program administration, serving as a program manager, coach, T/TA provider and supervisor. I have been fortunate enough to work for two United Ways, doing local community building, then for the state Department of Education as well as the Department of Human Services in Rhode Island. I have also worked for the countries first coordinated early learning department, the Department of Early Learning and Care in Massachusetts (EEC). Additionally, I have worked as a regional federal Administration for Children and Families Office of Head Start Regional Specialist and as a consultant for the national OHS and OCC TA network. I now work as a national consultant on a wide variety of projects at the local and state level. As a result, I bring experience working locally in communities, as the state, regional and federal levels.
This website is my version of an electronic portfolio. While a list of my previous work, academic and volunteer experience can be found on LinkedIn, this site provides examples of my previous written work, links to the projects I have managed, as well as examples of the professional development experiences I have provided.
